This tooth is failing due to a resorption process affecting the post crown. |
Here is the tooth removed prior to implant surgery |
The tooth has been carefully removed using periotomes |
The implant has been inserted together with a stealth abutment. A "composite shell temporary" has been luted to the plastic sleeve on the abutment. This has in turn been bonded to the adjacent teeth for stability. |
This is the appearance at 10 weeks, just prior to taking impressions for the final crown. |
Looking down on the abutment with the temporary crown removed. No cement was used to attach the crown to the abutment. Ready for impressions. |
