Immediate implant

This tooth is failing due to a resorption process affecting the post crown.
Here is the tooth removed prior to implant surgery
The tooth has been carefully removed using periotomes
The implant has been inserted together with a stealth abutment. A "composite shell temporary" has been luted to the plastic sleeve on the abutment. This has in turn been bonded to the adjacent teeth for stability.
This is the appearance at 10 weeks, just prior to taking impressions for the final crown.
Looking down on the abutment with the temporary crown removed. No cement was used to attach the crown to the abutment. Ready for impressions.
X-ray taken on the day of first stage surgery
